Hello and thank you for visiting Halcyon Realms. My name is Vong yonghow and I am a computer graphics artist working in my tiny hometown of Singapore. I am currently attached to Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), Lucasfilm Singapore as a Lighting Technical Director.

Prior to this I stayed in Tokyo, Japan for six years after been awarded the NAC Takashimaya Arts Scholarship to study film in Toho Gakuen. Half a year before graduation, I started working in Sunrise Emotion Animation Studios as a lighting artist on Freedom Project, an award winning OVA animation series commissioned by Nissin Cup Noodles for their 35th Anniversary, with character and mecha design by Otomo Katsuhiro ( Akira, Steamboy), and theme song “This is Love“, performed by Utada Hikaru. After the project ended, I moved on to Polygon Pictures to work as a lighting/compositing artist.
